Where are you based? South Surrey/White Rock.

Do you travel for sessions? Yes, I travel around Metro Vancouver. Travel takes time and time is money. So, there is a travel charge for travel to locations outside of Surrey & Langley.

What kind of photography do you do? I’m a natural light photographer specializing in creative children photography. Ok, that’s a mouthful. Let’s just say I love photographing children in natural light. I’m a very casual photographer and I’d love my clients to be casually comfortable as well. If you are looking for a traditional session, I could recommend other photographers in your area.

Where’s your studio? My studio is my den (for newborns), your house, your backyard, outdoors, wherever.

Do you do family photos besides children? Yes, childhood = family.

I’ve seen some wedding pictures in your website. Do you photograph weddings too? I don’t photograph weddings anymore. Sometimes I just want to share some weddings pictures.

Why children photography? I love kids because they say and do the darnest thing. They make me laugh and they are very honest with their emotions. I love photographing that. I only take up a number of sessions a year and there’s no pressure in filling up the calendar. I love having this quality creative freedom and my clients trust me on that. I strive to capture life differently.

What’s the best time to photograph a newborn? The earlier the better. Within 10 days tops.

I like those pictures of baby posing with different head gear and curled up in cute boxes? Do you photograph that? I used to. I find that it’s not my style and informal baby pictures is what I like to do.

Why do you only take up a number of sessions a month? I have two kids and they are still growing up. It’s important that I’m there for them. I’m not interested in being the HOTTEST children photographer in Vancouver. What I’m interested is to give you GREAT quality pictures and a session you and your family will enjoy.

How do I go about booking a session with you? 1. We will decide on a date.  2. You send me a deposit of $100 (non-refundable) so that I can hold your date. The deposit will be deducted from your session fee  and the balance will be due on our session date (BEFORE I start photographing). If you don’t pay the balance, I don’t photograph.

Do I sign a contract with you? Yes.

What happens if I need to cancel the session? I need a 24 hour notice.

What if my child is sick and I need to cancel less than 24 hours? I only allow one cancellation based on sickness. If you need to cancel again on the second date, you will have to pay the deposit again to hold the new date.

What if you need to cancel? I’ll give you a 24 hour notice if I fall sick or a urgent family matter arises. If it’s the weather, we’ll just see how it goes. We will reschedule to the earliest date possible.

When can I see the pictures? 1 week tops.

Do you offer digital files for purchase? Yes. I only offer digital images. It comes with a photographer’s release.

Can you retouch digital files? I only do minimal touch ups.
